Dr. Katie Disharoon, N.D.
Downtown Seattle Naturopath, Dr. Katie Disharoon believes that she should treat patients as if they were her own family members: with intention, compassion and a desire to get to the root cause of symptoms. Thanks to her Naturopathic training, Dr. Disharoon believes in the body’s natural gravitation toward healing and balance and away from disease. She seeks to meet patients where they are, providing expertise which bridges the gap between alternative and mainstream care and creating realistic treatment programs for patients. Dr. Disharoon has had been fortunate enough to have trained at the premier Naturopathic institutions in the US — including Bastyr University in the Seattle area, National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine near Phoenix, Arizona.
Dave specializes in the following areas: Pain Relief & Pain Management, Mental, Emotional & PTSD and Digestive Issues. Dave is a life-long, avid paddler, and was first drawn to Acupuncture in 1992 when recovering from a shoulder injury. He was amazed at how it helped him recover and continue to enjoy outdoor pursuits. Dave has been practicing acupuncture since 2001 in varied clinical environments ranging from independent work to a large multi-disciplinary clinic consisting of chiropractic, naturopathic and allopathic physicians. In addition to pain management and emotional health, one area of focus includes digestive issues such as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), colitis, constipation, diarrhea, gastritis and acid reflux.

Kelly Miller, LAc. became licensed to practice acupuncture in 1999 and specializes in Pain Relief and Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Reproductive and Women’s Health and Mental/ Emotional Health. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oriental Medicine and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture through Bastyr University. Kelly’s treatment focus involves addressing acute or chronic conditions, while rebalancing the general constitution to promote vitality and well-being.
Andrew Marks, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Andrew practices a dynamic style of therapeutic massage ideal for muscle pain and restoring greater function and mobility. This is not your typical massage – he uses a combination of deep precise pressure, cooperative movement and postural education to reduce muscle tension and improve motion. Andrew has been practicing yoga, pilates, ballet and weight lifting for twenty years and used these mediums to recover from chronic pain and numerous injuries. He is delighted to share his knowledge with you and is excited to be working together with the Hillclimb team of practitioners to bring you to optimal health.
